zoo. |
|
Water Parks:
|
There are some excellent water parks providing a
relaxing alternative to the theme parks. These can often get busy
later in the day so we recommend arriving soon after they open. |
 |
A Disney Water park. Of the two Disney water parks
Blizzard Beach will appeal to those looking for faster more thrilling
water slides.
|
 |
Another Disney Water park. Typhoon Lagoon offers
more relaxing water rides.

|
 |
Downtown Disney offers a range of shops,
restaurants and entertainment including Cirque du Soleil and the AMC
Theatres 24 screen cinema. Parking here is free. Its well worth a
visit but we have found the restaurants to be very busy on Saturday
evenings during the 'high season'. You should probably call ahead for
reservations or arrive early. |
 |
The Universal CityWalk offers shops, restaurants
and entertainment including the Universal Cineplex - 20 Screen State
Of The Art Movie Theater. You have to pay for parking but you can
combine it with your visit to either of the Universal theme parks for
no extra cost. |
 |
An excellent site providing information on a lot
of the near-by golf courses. Lookout for courses in the Davenport,
Haines City, Lake Buena Vista and Kissimmee areas. There are maps
available so you can check out drive times. |

Pines. |
